Is Visa decision given by Türkiye Visa Application Center?
No. Türkiye Visa Application Center is only obliged to forward the applications to Embassy/Consulate and the visa decision is only given by Embassy/Consulate. Employees of Türkiye Visa Application Center have no positive or negative impact on the visa decision. If you encountered the claim that employees of Türkiye Visa Application Center have an effect on the visa decision, then please notify it to authorized officers of Türkiye Visa Application Center.

Can I make my visa applications at Consulate/Embassy?
No. You can only make your visa applications at Türkiye Visa Application centers, which is the sole authorized body.

Is there any separation between jurisdictions?
Please note the Turkish Embassy in New Delhi, Consulate General of Türkiye in Mumbai and the Consulate General of Türkiye in Hyderabad will only accept applications as per the jurisdiction below:
Turkish Embassy in New Delhi: Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Punjab, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Chandigarh, Delhi, Nepal, Maldives.
Consulate General of Türkiye in Mumbai: Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Daman and Diu, Dadra and Nagar, Lakshadweep Islands.
Consulate General of Türkiye in Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Orissa and Chhattisgarh. -
When should I apply ?
Your departure date must be more than 4 working days for Delhi. If it is less than 4 working days, you can just apply under premium lounge Service in Delhi and Gurgaon. For Mumbai, your departure date must be more than 10 working days. For Hyderabad your departure date must be more than 9 working days. Please click here for more information and appointment.

Can I apply with missing documents?
Instructions have been given in detail on our web in relation to the required documentation for specific visa types. If you have a missing document, we cannot accept your application.

What is the minimum period of validity of my passport to be able to apply?
To be able to apply for a visa to Türkiye, your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after your return date. If the validity is less than 6 months, we recommend you apply after your passport is renewed. Also, your passport must have at least 2 empty pages.

What is "Sticker Visa"?
A Türkiye visa affixed on the passport, by means of which you can travel via aircrafts and land vehicles, for which you can apply at Türkiye Visa Application Centers, with long-term and multi-entry if approved by Consulate/Embassy.

How can minor applicants (under 18) make application?
Minors need consent letter from both parents in all cases (eventhough minor is travelling with both parents). The consent NOC must be on stamp paper with photos of parents and applicant and notarized. Also, for Mumbai, Minor need original parents’ passport eventhough minor is travelling with both parents.

I am a foreign citizen resident in India. How much is the visa fee and how / where can I pay the visa fee?
Single Entry Visa Fee is 4280 INR, Multiple Entry Fee is 13550 INR. You can pay for your visa fees at the Gateway Türkiye Visa Application centre. For Nepalese national applying in Nepal, Visa fee should be paid at Standard Chartered Bank, Jawalakhel Branch for detailed information please visit visa fees page.

I will be traveling through Türkiye to another country. Do I need a visa to Türkiye?
If you go by airway and do not leave the transit zone, you do not need to obtain a visa. However, in all other cases you need to obtain a visa.

How can I get a Travel Health Insurance?
You can get your travel health insurance from all Türkiye Visa Application Centers. We would like to remind you that insurances made from any other institutions are not accepted for application.

How can I follow up after I apply for a visa?

Can I cancel my application?
When you submit with the petition with original signature stating that you withdraw your application along with your identity card to Türkiye Visa Application Center; after Embassy / Consulate confirms it, you can cancel your application. We would like to remind you that the cancellation process may take a few days.

How can collect my passport?
Along with your identity card and payment receipt given to you, you can collect your passport from Türkiye Visa Application Centres. If you would like to you can use our additional service- Hold At Location. For example; If you have applied from our Delhi office and are residing in Kolkata, you can benefit from our hold at location service to our Kolkata office for your passport in return for 450 INR and you can collect your passport from our Kolkata office.

What is the appropriate photo for a visa application?
You need 2 biometric photos (with a white background, taken in the last 6 months, with the face clearly visible, in 2.5inch x 2.5inch size).

What does premium lounge service mean?
Premium lounge service is an additional service and your issue period is less with this service. If you apply until 3 o’clock, your passport will be forward in the same day to embassy. If you apply after 3 o’clock, your application will be forward next day in the morning. This service is just available for Delhi and Gurgaon offices. What are the points I should check after I have received my passport?

What is "Electronic Visa" (C1)?
A single-use Türkiye visa which is not affixed on the passport, for 30 days valid for 6 months, by means of which you can only travel via aircrafts.

What should I do if in case The Embassy/Consulate decides to refund my visa fee?
You should contact us via customer care emails to receive your refund and provide us below information in your email;
- Passport Copy of the Applicant
- Visa Copy of the Applicant ( if visa is obtained.)
- Original ICR ( white receipt that shows you made your payment during the application day)
- Bank account details ( which the refund amount will be transferred. )
Important Note: Refunds can be made for up to one year. Refunds exceeding one year are considered expired.
