REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR SEAMAN VISA APPLICATION FOR DELHI

  1. Manually filled visa application form by blue or black pen in capital letters with 1 photograph affixed to it, signed by the applicant
  2. Original Passport

- The original passport should be issued less than 10 years with a minimum validity of 6 months from the date of entry to Turkey.
- Your passport must have at least 2 empty pages.
- The photocopy of valid passport first and last pages.

  1. Biometric Photographs

- Two biometric photos with white background that were taken within the last 6 months covering the full face including ears and all hair, clearly and completely visible without shadow, in 2.5 inch x 2.5 inch size.

  1. Covering Letter

- Covering letter from Indian agent, invitation letter from Turkey or colour scanned copy with clear information specified the full name and passport number of the applicant.
- The letter should mention identity, position and passport duration of seamen, Vessel owner’s details and Turkish agent details, flag of the vessel, date of entry /departure of ship from Turkey, Seaman’s date of arrival and joining the ship.

  1. Employment Documenation

- Employment contract copy, crew list should be signed by the master and itinerary of vessel from the company

  1. Additional Documents
    -If Agent is making the application on behalf of the applicant, letter of attorney from every applicant, in original.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR DELHI: All submitted documents must be current and complete. The incomplete documents submitted for the visa application in Turkey may cause the application to be rejected. Embassy of Turkey in New Delhi has the right to request additional documents when it deems necessary. Presenting of the above documents does not guarantee that the visa will be granted. The Embassy reserves the right to refuse application without any explanation. There is no refund possibility in any circumstances. All forms and documents must be prepared and presented separately for each person (including family members or any group). The information contained provided here is a general guideline. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR SEAMAN VISA APPLICATION FOR MUMBAI

(Jurisdiction areas of the Consulate General in Mumbai/Visa application centers: Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin, Trivandrum, Pondicherry and Goa) 

1.Original Passport

-Passport must be valid for at least 6 months as from the date of arrival in Turkey.

-Passport should have at least 2 blank pages available.

-1 photocopy of passport’s first and last page.

-For passports which were not issued in the jurisdiction areas of the Consulate General in Mumbai, local address proof must be submitted. (Only registered leave and license agreement copy or registered agreement copy)

2.Visa Application Form

-Application Form should be filled manually by blue or black pen in capital letters with 1 photograph affixed and signed by the applicant.

3.Biometric Photographs

-2 biometric photos with white background that were taken within the last 6 months covering the full-face including ears and hair, clearly and completely visible without shadow, in 2.5 inch x 2.5 inch size.

4.Cover/invitation letter

-Cover letter by local agent and invitation letter from Turkey with the name and passport number of the applicant.

-The letter should mention identity, position and passport duration of seamen, vessel owner’s details and Turkish agent details, flag of the vessel, date of entry /departure of ship to/from Turkey, seamen’s date of arrival and joining the ship.

5.Original CDC/Seamen’s book with 1 photocopy 

6.Employment contract copy

-Crew list should be signed by the master and itinerary of vessel from the company

7.Original authorization letter

-It is required from the applicant and travel agent in case application is submitted by a representative or travel agent.

 

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1.All submitted documents must be current and complete (in English). The incomple documents submitted for the visa application may cause the application to be rejected. The Consulate General has the right to request additional documents when it deems necessary.  Presenting of the above documents does not guarantee that the visa will be granted. 2.In principle, visa applications should be made:

-Minimum 10 working days prior to the date of departure (Mumbai)

-Minimum 12 working days prior to the date of departure (Other visa application centers under the jurisdiction of the Consulate General in Mumbai)

 

Notice:

We encourage everyone considering travel to Turkey to apply for visa as early as possible. Early visa applications are important as the processing time may vary depending on the number of applications. Visa applications are processed as efficiently as possible, however high demand for visas can lead to a longer than usual wait time. It is advised to wait until the applicants receive their visas inorder to book their hotel and flights.

Holders of Turkish visa are kindly requested to check their visa including the “duration of stay”, “period of validity” and “number of entries” before their travel to Turkey. Holders of Turkish visa will not be allowed to enter Turkey before the start of the “validity period” of their visas.


The information printed on issued visas should match the information in the applicant’s passports. You should check your visa carefully, and if you discover an error (misspelling, error in passport no. or name-surname etc.) on your visa, please email or call us.

 

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR SEAMAN VISA APPLICATION FOR HYDERABAD

  1. Visa Application Form: Manually filled visa application form by blue or black pen in capital letters with 1 photograph affixed to it, signed by the applicant
  2. Original Passport: Passport must be valid for at least 6 months upon arrival in Turkey and should have at least 2 full blank pages available in it.

Note: Previous passport needs to be submitted if current passport is issued after 2015.

  1. 2 Biometric Photographs: With a white background that were taken within the last 6 months, covering the full-face including ears and all hair, clearly and completely visible without shadow, in 2.5inch x 2.5inch size.
  2. Hotel reservation: Details of applicant’s name, check -in &check -out dates for entire travel stay in Turkey. Accomadation details (Where will the applicant stay (with friend or hostel or hotel)
  3. Confirmed Flight Itinerary:
  4. Employment Contract copy, Crew list should be signed by the master and itinerary of vessel.
  5. The Letter: It should mention identity, position and passport duration of seamen. Vessel Owner’s details and Turkish agent details, Flag of the Vessel, Date of Entry/Departure of ship from Turkey, Seamen’s date of arrival and joining the ship.
  6. 1 Copy of your Passport (Also attach if any valid visas (UK, US and Schengen)
  7. Passports which are not issued in Jurisdiction for applicants applying in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Goa, Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin, Trivandrum, Pondicherry can be submitted with local address proof. (Only registered leave and licence agreement copy and it needs to be notarized and attested from the Mantralaya.)
  8. Applicant need to show whether has travelled to Turkey before or this is his/her 1st time visit to Turkey
  9. Accomadation details: Where will the applicant stay (with friend or hostel or hotel)

Consulate General of Turkey in Hyderabad has the right to request additional documents when it deems necessary. Presenting of the above documents does not guarantee that the visa will be granted. The Consulate General of Hyderabad reserves the right to refuse application without any explanation. There is no refund possibility in any circumstances. VERY IMPORTANT NOTE FOR APPLICANTS WHO WILL APPLY FOR WORK VISA ;

After applicant has applied and visa has been approved, our agents will inform you about your reference number via e-mail.  Please make sure that the correct e-mail address is provided during the application process. Turkish employer has to apply the Ministry of Family, Employment and Social Services in Turkey within 10 working days after issued, with this reference number. You may apply for approved work visa after your confirmation mail from the ministry.
