GENERAL INFORMATION AND REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION FOR VISA APPLICATIONS

MANDATORY DOCUMENTS FOR TOURIST VISA APPLICATION FOR DELHI

Manually filled visa application form by blue or black pen in capital letters with 1 photograph affixed to it, signed by the applicant


Original Passport
- The original passport should be issued less than 10 years with a minimum validity of 6 months from the date of entry to Turkey.
- Your passport must have at least 2 empty pages.
- The photocopy of valid passport first and last pages.
- Passports which are not issued in jurisdiction for applicants applying under the jurisdiction of The Turkish Embassy, New Delhi need to be submitted with local address proof. (Only Registered Leave and License Agreement copy).

Biometric Photographs
- Two biometric photos with white background that were taken within the last 6 months covering the full-face including ears and all hair, clearly and completely visible without shadow, in 2.5-inch x 2.5-inch size.

Travel Health Insurance
- Travel insurance should cover at least duration of the trip in Turkey
- Travel Insurance is mandatory requirement which should fulfill the below requirements,


It should fulfill the below requirements:
I. Medical Evacuation and repatriation expenses
II. Personal accidental death
III. Personal liability
IV. Daily allowance in hospitalization cases
V. This plan should cover the insured for a minimum of Euro 30000.

Required Documenation of Employment
If applicant is employed, 
- If the applicant is employed leave letter form employer/ covering letter in personal business letter head (if self-employed) with authorized signatory, name and designation with company seal
- Salary Slips/Certificates of the last 3 months and Form 16.
- Last 3 months bank statement of company, in original or copies attested by bank.
- Last 3 months bank statement personal, in original or copies attested by bank.
If applicant is employer,
- The company registration documents
- GST / Goods and Services Tax.
- Last 3 months bank statement of company, in original or copies attested by bank.
If applicant is retired,
- Original retirement documents
- Income proof (if any: pension slips, rent from property etc.)
- Last 3 month's personal bank statement, in original or copies attested by bank.
If applicant is financially supported,
- If applicant has not enough funds or bank account, financial support letter from the sponsor notarized.(Not applicable for spouses, parents and children)

Required Financiak Documentation
- Personal bank statement for the last 3 months, in original or copies attested by bank

Travel Documents
- Confirmed reservation of round-trip flight ticket

Accommodation Documents
- Hotel Reservation.
- Tour Itinerary (Optional)
- If the applicant is visiting a Turkish citizen/foreigner residing in Turkey; invitation letter including passport number and full name of the applicant and copy of the identity card and bank account of the inviter.

Additional Documents
- If not shown in passport Marriage Certificate of the Couple issued by the marriage registrar / Affidavit required attested by Notary Public
- If Agent is making the application on behalf of the applicant, letter of attorney from every applicant, in original

Mandatory documents for the Minors
- Minors need consent letter from both parents in all cases (eventhough minor is travelling with both parents). The consent must contain photos of parents and applicant and notarized . 

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR DELHI: All submitted documents must be current and complete. The incomplete documents submitted for the visa application in Turkey may cause the application to be rejected. Embassy of Turkey in New Delhi has the right to request additional documents when it deems necessary. Presenting of the above documents does not guarantee that the visa will be granted. The Embassy reserves the right to refuse application without any explanation. There is no refund possibility in any circumstances. All forms and documents must be prepared and presented separately for each person (including family members or any group). The information provided on our web is a general guideline. Vissa issue process is minimum 4 working days.

MANDATORY DOCUMENTS FOR TOURISTIC VISA APPLICATION FOR MUMBAI

(Jurisdiction areas of the Consulate General in Mumbai/Visa application centers: Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin, Trivandrum, Pondicherry and Goa)

1- Original Passport
-Passport must be valid for at least 6 months as from the date of arrival in Turkey.

-Passport should have at least 2 blank pages available.

-1 photocopy of passport’s first and last page.

-For passports which were not issued in the jurisdiction areas of the Consulate General in Mumbai, local address proof must be submitted. (Only registered leave and license agreement copy, or registered agreement copy)

 

2.Visa Application Form

-Application Form should be filled manually by blue or black pen in capital letters with 1 photograph affixed and signed by the applicant.

 

3.Biometric photgraphs

-2 biometric photos with white background that were taken within the last 6 months depicting the full-face including ears and hair, clearly and completely visible without shadow, in 2.5-inch x 2.5-inch size.
 

4.Cover letter

-Letter by the applicant mentioning the purpose and duration of stay, occupation and expenses clause, accompanying persons if any, etc.
 

5.Hotel reservation

-Reservation document with applicant’s name and check-in & check-out dates, hotel details.
 

6.Invitation letter

-If the applicant will visit a Turkish citizen/foreigner residing in Turkey, invitation letter including the name/passport no.of the invitees and duration/purpose of stay; copy of ID/passport of the inviting person; permanent address and contact no.of the inviting person.

7.Round trip flight ticket or confirmed reservation
 

8.Travel Health Insurance 

It should fulfill the below requirements:

-Daily allowance in hospitalization cases

9.Mandatory documents for minors 

-Consent letter from both parents even if minor is travelling with both parents. 
-NOC must be on 100Rs stamp paper with photos of parents and applicant & notarized.

-Original Passport from both parents even if minor is travelling with both parents.
 

10.Original authorization letter

-It is required from the applicant and travel agent in case application is submitted by a representative or travel agent.
 

11.Additional documents:

- (If not shown in passport) Marriage Certificate of the Couple issued by the marriage registrar /Affidavit required attested by Notary Public.

-E-visa copy and passport copy of those who will travel with the applicant should be submitted as applicable.
 

12.Proof of profession & financial means

If Employed/Self-Employed:
-Leave/cover letter from employer/company with letterhead, signature, seal/stamp.
-Last 3 months’ salary slips with letterhead, signature, seal/stamp
-Last 3 months’ personal bank statement (original or copies attested by bank)

If Employer:

-Company registration documents. Original notary and Mantralaya/MEA attestation needs to be done for each applicant.

-Last 3 months’ company bank statement (original or copies attested by bank)

If Retired:
-Retirement documents & income proof (original or copies attested)
-Last 3 month's personal bank statement (original or copies attested by bank)

If Proprietor/Partner/Director:

-Applicant needs to provide proof in which applicant/company name should be mentioned. Original notary and Mantralaya/MEA attestation need to be done for each applicant.

-Last 3 month's personal bank statement (original or copies attested by bank)

If Student:
-Letter from the school/university & ID copy  
-Last 3 months' personal bank statement (original or copies attested by bank)

If Freelancer:
-Contract documents & leave/cover letter as applicable

-Last 3 months’ personal bank statement (original or copies attested by bank)

If the applicant is financially supported:

-Letter from the sponsor and last 3 months' personal bank statement of the sponsor (original or copies attested by bank)

If applying for dependent visa:
-Passport copy of the person in Turkey.
-Permanent residence/work permit copy of the person in Turkey as applicable.
-Address proof of the person in Turkey 
-Last 3 months' bank statement of the person in Turkey.
-Last 3 months' bank statement of the applicant (not applicable for spouses and children)

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1.All submitted documents must be current and complete (in English). The incomplete documents submitted for the visa application may cause the application to be rejected. 2.In principle, visa applications should be made:

-Minimum 10 working days prior to the date of departure (Mumbai)

-Minimum 12 working days prior to the date of departure (Other visa application centers under the jurisdiction of the Consulate General in Mumbai)

Announcement on visa applications:

We encourage everyone considering travel to Turkey to apply for visa as early as possible. Early visa applications are important as the processing time may vary depending the volume of work of the consulates.  Visa applications are processed as efficiently as possible, however high demand for visas can lead to a longer processing time. It is best to wait until after you have received your visa before booking travel plans.

Holders of Turkish visa are kindly requested to check their visa including the “duration of stay”, “period of validity” and “number of entries” before their travel to Turkey. Holders of Turkish visa will not be allowed to enter Turkey before the start of the “validity period” of their visas.
The information printed on issued visas should match the information in the applicant’s passports. You should check your visa carefully, and if you discover an error (misspelling, error in passport no. or name-surname etc.) on your visa, please email or call us.

 
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR TOURISTIC VISA APPLICATIONS FOR HYDERABAD
 
VISA APPLICATION FORM:

Manually filled visa application form by blue or black pen in capital letters with 1 photograph affixed to it, signed by the applicant
Original Passport: Passport must be valid for at least 6 months upon arrival in Turkey and should have at least 2 full blank pages available in it.
Note: Previous passport needs to be submitted if current passport is issued after 2015.

2 Biometric Phograph:
 a white background that were taken within the last 6 months, depicting the full-face including ears and all hair, clearly and completely visible without shadow, in 2.5inch x 2.5inch size.

Hotel reservation: Details of applicant’s name, check -in &check -out dates for entire travel stay in Turkey. Accomadation details (Where will the applicant stay (with friend or hostel or hotel)
Confirmed Flight Itinerary (confirmed reservation of round trip flight ticket)


Travel Insurance is mandatory requirement which should fulfil requirements:
- Medical Evacuation and repatriation expenses
- Personal accidental death
- Personal liability
- Daily allowance in hospitalization cases.  

Covering letter:with entire travel plan from the applicant in type format, mentioning the purpose of stay in details, accompanying person details, duration of stay, occupation and expenses clause.(If the applicant is a business man,covering letter should be on covering letter head)

(Required in Typed format and not written)

Note: (If company incentive group) Company covering letter on business letterhead with entire applicant name list with MEA attestation needs to be submitted. (Apostille Letter)

Original Leave letter with seal from the company stating your designation, period of work, salary, Purpose of visit and duration of travel (if employed).
No-objection certificate of School or University (if student).

Required Documenation for Financials:
If employed:
Pay slips of last three months (with Co. seal) and employment contract
Income tax returns (ITR) or form 16 with signature for last three years
Personal bank statement of last 3 months with Original Bank Seal and with sufficient funds (1 Lac and above)
If the applicant has his own business/partner/proprietor/director:
Incorporation certificate/memorandum of association/partnership deed/proprietorship proof and applicants’ name should be mentioned.

Note: Original Notary needs to be done for each applicant irrespective of whether the applicant is travelling in a group or not.

Company profile on company letter head with seal and signature is mandatory.

Income tax returns (ITR) for last three years.

Personal bank statement of last 3 months with Original Bank Seal and with sufficient funds (1 Lac and above)

1 Copies of Passport: Applicants should copy first and last pages of valid passport (A4 size copy. Also attach If you have any valid visas (UK, US and Schengen).
Original Authorization Letter: Required from the applicant and travel agent in case application is submitted by a Representative or Travel Agent.
Required Documentation for Minors applications:
Parents passport’s photocopy needs to be attached.
NOC must be on 100Rs stamp paper with photos of parents and applicant and notarized if minor is travelling accompanied/unaccompanied by parents

Note: Application form signed by any of the parents
If the applicant is visiting a Turkish citizen/foreigner residing in Turkey; invitation letter including passport number and full name of the applicant, copy of the identity card, passport copy, vısa copy and address proof of the inviter.
If not shown in passport: Marriage Certificate of the Couple issued by the marriage registrar / Affidavit required attested by Notary Public/Wedding Card
Proof of civil status: Marriage certificate, birth certificate of children, death certificate of spouse, ration card if applicable
